Independence & Transparency
Hairloss Authority is an independent hair transplant and hair loss community. This page explains, in plain terms, how the forum is run, how participation works, and how the same standards are applied across the community.
One set of rules, for everyone
The same forum rules apply to every member, clinic, doctor, representative, professional, and organization.
No person or organization receives special moderation treatment because of who they are, where they are based, how well known they are, how active they are on the platform, or whether they are in contact with us.
Participation does not buy influence over how content is moderated.
The forum is open to everyone
Hairloss Authority is an open community.
Patients are free to share their experiences, treatment journeys, results, photographs, questions, and opinions.
Doctors and medical professionals can discuss their work, approaches, areas of expertise, and professional perspectives.
Clinics and organizations can participate, provide information about their services, respond to discussions, and share appropriate content under the same forum rules.
What matters is not who someone is or where they come from. What matters is that participation is transparent, respectful, and consistent with the rules of the community.
Negative experiences aren't removed for being negative
A patient's account of a bad outcome, disappointing result, or poor experience is not removed simply because it reflects negatively on a clinic, doctor, product, or service.
Hairloss Authority does not exist to protect anyone's reputation from genuine criticism.
At the same time, normal moderation standards still apply. Fake accounts, personal attacks, spam, misleading content, serious unsupported accusations, and other rule-breaking material may be reviewed or moderated regardless of who posted it or who it concerns.
Professional connections should be clear
Clinic representatives, doctors, medical professionals, and other industry participants are welcome to take part in the community.
They are not restricted from sharing information, responding to discussions, or expressing their professional perspective.
However, other members should be able to understand when someone has a professional connection to the industry.
Members can disclose a professional affiliation in their profile, and where applicable a small label such as "Clinic Representative", "Doctor", or "Medical Professional" may appear alongside their account.
This is a transparency feature, not a ranking, verification, or credentialing system.
An industry label does not give someone additional authority on the forum, and it does not restrict their ability to participate.
We don't decide which clinic or doctor is "good"
Hairloss Authority does not exist to choose a clinic, doctor, treatment, product, or service on behalf of its users.
Our role is to provide a space where different experiences, professional perspectives, questions, results, and discussions can exist side by side.
Patients, professionals, and other members can then review that information and reach their own conclusions.
