About Hairloss Authority
Hairloss Authority is an independent hair loss information site. We are not owned by, and do not receive payment from, any hair transplant clinic, pharmaceutical company, or hair loss product brand. Our only source of revenue is standard display advertising; no advertiser has any influence over what we write, how we rank treatments, or which studies we cite.
What we publish
The site has two parts. The Blog is a library of educational articles about hair loss causes, medical and surgical treatments, and hair transplant procedures, written and maintained by the Hairloss Authority editorial team. The Forum is a community space where members ask questions and share their own experiences; forum content reflects the views of the individual members who post it, not the editorial team, and is not reviewed to the same standard as blog articles.
How our articles are put together
Blog articles are researched using public medical sources — FDA drug labeling and clearance records, peer-reviewed clinical studies, and guidance from recognized dermatology and hair restoration organizations — and are written to explain, in plain language, what the evidence actually supports. We describe our sourcing and review process in full in our Editorial Policy.
Who we are
Hairloss Authority is produced by a small editorial team rather than a single named author or clinic. We publish under the Hairloss Authority byline rather than inventing individual writer or reviewer profiles, because we would rather be transparent about how the site is actually run than present credentials we don't have. If that changes — for example, if a named clinician joins to review content — we will update this page and say so plainly.
What this site is not
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for seeing a licensed doctor. We don't diagnose individual cases, and we don't recommend specific clinics or doctors. If you're making a decision about treatment, please talk to a qualified physician who can examine you.
